Derek Trucks called life on the road with the Tedeschi Trucks Band “a rolling musical lesson.”

“Somebody always grabs the stereo and plugs in their iPod or phone and DJs,” he said. “Sometimes everybody’s just quietly listening, sometimes it’s just background music to the party, but there’s always some amazing music.”

He served as editor of the online resurrection of CREEM Magazine and has published in regional and national publications such as Harp, Blurt, MLive and the Metro Times.
